The Prize

We believe that everyone has a story inside them, unique to them, only possibly told by them. Quramo Publishing Limited wants to encourage the inclination, the habit, the discipline and the art of telling these stories. They are important because of our collective identity, the sense of history they convey, because our stories are who we are.

The Prize calls for writers to submit unpublished work of fiction and nonfiction, and is open in two categories: a general prize and an under 16 prize. There will be one winner in each category. The award[s] consist of a cash prize, a publishing contract and more

Submission Process

Participants can submit their work to our website by filling in the application form and uploading their submissions. The Quramo Writers’ Prize has a minimum word count of 5, 000 words, the under 16 prize has an upper limit of 3,000 words.

Alternatively, manuscripts are accepted via post/email to the addresses provided.

Dates and Deadlines

This call for submissions officially opens on Saturday, April 1st 2017 and will close on the 30th of June. The formal ceremony will hold in September.

Tell us your stories, we are listening…
